Golightly thru Life: June 2010

We're back from California. We had a long trip but a nice trip. We came home exhausted but with some good times and great memories.

Our first day we went to Castle Park amusement park. Nicholas LOVED all of the rides. He's going to be a thrill seeker for sure. He was really upset that he wasn't tall enough to get on the roller coaster or bumper cars. I was kind of relieved.

Nicholas went swimming in the pool for the first time. The water was extremely cold but he really enjoyed it.

Monday we left the hotel at about 5:30am and drove in tons of traffic to the Laker's championship parade.

I swore this man was Phil Jackson and was happy I got a pretty good picture. Then I later found out he wasn't even at the parade. Now I have no idea who this guy is.

By the end of the day Nicholas was passed out. I don't know why but he insisted on playing with the phone and fell asleep.

We found a park and Nicholas got to play around a bit.

We went to Hollywood and visited all the famous streets: Hollywood & Vine, Melrose, etc.

Our last day we headed to Newport Beach. The water was freezing but Nicholas had a blast.
