3 things Thursday

3 Things I'm loving this week

1) The post secret sites I've recently been made privy to. Lots of time wasting and juicy gossip going on reading those. 2) Receiving wilted dandelions at the end of almost everyday. Nicholas pics them for me when Grandma takes him to the playground in the morning and saves them until I come pick him up. They're pretty much dead by 5:30pm but I don't care, I treasure those floppy flowers.

3) Nicholas being such a gentleman. I've said it before but I love that he removes his hat when he goes into a building, says please, thank you, excuse me, and you're welcome. And that he will open a door for me and hold it while I walk through. He's going to be quite the catch someday.

3 things Thursday

3 Things I'm loving this week

1) Restarting my blog. I've been actually good keeping up with it this time around and I'm really proud and happy about it. I love coming in here and looking back at the various posts and love sharing them with friends and family.

2) New wiper blades for my truck. It makes a world of difference and I was actually pleased when it rained this week.

3) This new hair stuff I got for Nicholas. It's called "Soft & Beautiful, Just for me" and it's touted as a puff tamer and controls the 'fro. I'm loving it!

3 things Thursday

1) Plaid shorts for Nicholas. One of my favorite outfits for him, any color or plaid shorts (and he's got lots) and a T-shirt or polo type shirt. He looks so handsome.
2) Sinus rinse. With all the pollen that's been in the air, this thing has been a life saver. It's made life breathable for the past week or so. I was scared to death of it at first but after trying it once, I'm hooked.

3) Nicholas' manners. He may be quite defiant at times. Very strong willed and stubborn but he's got manners. He says please, thank you, starting to say you're welcome, and he opens doors for you and takes his hat off when he enters a building. I've a little gentleman on my hands. Now if I could only get him to listen when I tell him things.

3 things Thursday

3 Things I love this week

1) The weather. It's been beautiful most days this week. Except Tuesday which was colder than I expected and rainy. Most days have been sunny and warmer. I love knowing it's going to be warm all day and beaing able to go outside in the evening with Nicholas to ride his bike on the boardwalk.

2) The "concentration face". Nicholas sticks out his little tongue when he's concentrating just like his Mommy does.

3) Nicholas' John Deere hat. He wears it everywhere.

3 Things that I love this week

1) McDonalds hot mocha. I could drink this stuff all day long.

2) My new mineral make-up and face primer. I got the face primer recommendation from some Mean Mommies that I know. It works wonders.

3) My baby when he sleeps with his face all squishy and squashed.

3 things Thursday

An idea stolen from a wonderful Mommy Friend, Sara from Taking on the World With Our Boy.

I'm gonig to try to keep up with a "3 things Thursday". 3 things each week I'm happy about, grateful for, loving, etc.

So :drumroll please: for week#1 here are my 3 things for Thursday

1. I am so excited about the warmer weather. After the horrid winter we had, it snowed so much I swear I farted snowflakes, I'm glad to see the sun.

I was able to take Nicholas outside last night to ride his bike when we got home. He made a new little friend in the neighborhood and it made for a great evening.

2. Driving my own truck. After 2 weeks of driving "the blue beast" (what I affectionately call the monstrosity that is the Yukon) I'm so glad to have my little truck back, and hey it starts right up and gets me where I got to go.

3. Snuggling and cuddles from Nicholas when he's sleepy. We read and watch his shows in the evening on the couch and when he's getting sleepy he snuggles in under my arm. Then we go up to bed and I lay with him until he falls asleep and I love right when he's about to drift off, he scooches his little but up to me, sticks his feet between my legs and snuggles there.
